-Paul D. MacLean
Man has always been intrigued by the brain’s immense complexity. If you share a similar interest in this fascinating organ, then please join us! Whether you are curious about how the brain functions or the various diseases that affect it, the Penn Neuroscience Society is the perfect place for you to indulge your curiosity. Join us for discussions, lectures, and workshops given by some of the world’s most prominent neurologists and neurosurgeons from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
The University of Pennsylvania Neuroscience Society strives to provide a forum of discussion for today’s rapidly developing field of neuroscience. We seek to bring together undergraduate and graduate students who share an avid interest in learning about the human brain and nervous system, to inform these students of potential academic and clinical careers in the field of neuroscience, and to spread awareness of neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease not only throughout Penn’s campus, but also throughout the greater Philadelphia community.
